Frist Baptist Church Gallatin

Overview

First Baptist Church Gallatin partnered with Impact Stewardship Resources to take the next step in a long-envisioned campus development plan. Through a focused and faith-driven campaign, the church rallied around a shared vision to expand its reach and deepen its connection with a growing community.

The result was a strong response—$933,468 committed, more than 2.5 times the original budget, and a campaign that exceeded its goal while strengthening unity and momentum.

The Challenge

Gallatin and Sumner County have experienced rapid and ongoing growth, bringing new families and opportunities for ministry every day. As this growth accelerated, First Baptist Gallatin recognized several key challenges:

  • Limited facilities to effectively connect with new residents
  • Gaps in campus flow and accessibility between existing buildings
  • Increasing demand for space to support outreach, discipleship, and community engagement

While the church had long held a vision for expansion, the time had come to act.

The Solution: A New Connection Center

With guidance from Impact Stewardship Resources, First Baptist Gallatin launched a campaign centered on building a new multi-purpose facility that would serve as the heart of connection for the campus.

Key features of the project include:

  • A Multi-Purpose Building
Designed to support a wide range of ministry activities, outreach opportunities, and community engagement.
  • A Central Connection Hub
Serving as both a physical and relational bridge—linking the Student Ministry Center and Education Building while creating a welcoming space for gathering and connection.
  • Enhanced Ministry Opportunities
Providing new ways to engage families and individuals in a rapidly growing region.
  • Support for the Great Commission
Equipping the church to continue making disciples locally and globally, in alignment with Matthew 28:19–20.

This new facility is more than a building—it is a strategic step toward expanding the church’s ability to serve and reach others.

“Our church did our homework before going with an "outside stewardship" company to help us raise funds for our multipurpose building. Without reservation, I can say that we have been blessed by the help that Impact Stewardship has provided for us at First Baptist Gallatin on Main Street! Gary and his team have been easy to work with, and the services they provide are done with excellence! We would use them again without reservation!"
