First Baptist Church Glen Rose partnered with Impact Stewardship Resources for the second time to launch a bold and visionary capital campaign, For Generations. With a clear focus on growth, community impact, and long-term legacy, the church set out to expand its capacity and enhance its ministry reach.

The result was extraordinary: $12.2 million raised, more than six times their original budget and exceeding their campaign goal, demonstrating exceptional congregational engagement and a powerful alignment around vision.

As First Baptist Glen Rose experienced steady growth, its existing facilities were no longer sufficient to meet the needs of its congregation or community. Key challenges included:

  • Limited worship space restricting attendance and growth
  • Aging infrastructure unable to support modern ministry needs
  • Barriers to creating engaging, multi-generational worship experiences
  • Lack of flexible space for community gatherings and outreach

Church leadership recognized the need to invest strategically in facilities that would support both present ministry and future generations.

With strategic guidance from Impact Stewardship Resources, the church launched the For Generations campaign, centered on five key priorities:

    Designing the facility as a central hub for fellowship, outreach, and events—strengthening connections within the church and extending impact into the broader community.
  4. Support Multi-Generational Ministry
    Creating dedicated spaces for children, youth, adults, and seniors to grow in faith in ways tailored to each stage of life.
  5. Build a Lasting Legacy
    Anchored in the vision of “For Generations: uniting, building, reaching,” the campaign focused on long-term impact and sustainability.
