Boones Creek Christian Church

Overview

Boones Creek Christian Church partnered with Impact Stewardship Resources to launch a transformational capital campaign focused on expanding ministry capacity and preparing for future generations. Rooted in a clear mission and bold vision, the campaign inspired extraordinary generosity resulting in $9 million committed, nearly four times the original budget, and full funding of the entire project.

As Boones Creek continued to faithfully preach God’s Word, lead people to Christ, and live out the Great Commission, growth created new challenges:

  • Limited space for worship and discipleship
  • Fragmented ministry areas across different locations
  • Increasing demand for children’s and student ministry environments
  • Need for improved connection points and community gathering spaces

Leadership recognized that facilities were becoming a limiting factor in reaching more people and discipling them effectively.

The campaign was driven by a compelling purpose:

To ensure there is space for all people—children, students, and adults—to come to love Jesus and live like Jesus for generations to come.

This vision unified the congregation around the belief that physical space plays a critical role in spiritual impact.

With guidance from Impact Stewardship Resources, Boones Creek launched a comprehensive building initiative to support its growing ministry. Key components included:

  • Transforming the Gymnasium into a Worship Center
Converting the current gym into a 1,200-seat worship center, dramatically increasing capacity for gatherings and future growth.
  • Repurposing Existing Worship Spaces
Reimagining the current worship center and classrooms to:
  • Creating a Central Connection Hub
Expanding and redesigning the facility to establish a central entrance and gathering point, improving flow, hospitality, and connection on Sundays.
  • Expanding Children’s Ministry Space
Adding new areas to support a rapidly growing children’s ministry.
  • Enhancing Preschool Ministry
Repurposing the existing children’s wing to better serve preschool-age families.
  • Building a New Gymnasium
Adding a new gym to serve both church events and broader community gatherings, strengthening outreach opportunities.
